Summer Arts
The Summer Arts Camp is one of GAAC's most popular programs, providing children with quality arts experiences, directed by professional educators. Participants explore music, visual arts, movement, and drama. The two-week camp occurs every year in June, mornings Monday through Friday.
Summer Arts Camp 2008
This year's instructors for Art from the Cranium will be:
Painting • John Bell - Grinnell College
Sculpture • Joe Lacina - Maryland Institute College of Art
Music • Laura Briggs - Northwestern College
Theatre • Sam Newport - Knox College
Dates & Time:
June 9-20, Monday-Friday, 8:30-11:45 AM
Art Show & Performance - Friday, June 20, 7 PM
Tuition:
$125 for Grinnell Area Arts Council members
$135 for non-members.
Scholarships available based on need
Location:
Classes meet at the Art Factory
(3633 Hwy 146 • 2nd driveway north of 16th Avenue on the east side of Hwy 146 • Red Building east of Brick House.)
Please wear clothing and shoes to paint and play in.
