Netia WorleyFlowerage November 7 - 26, 2008 (Back to exhibition page) Netia has been a practicing artist her entire adult life and has studied art at the University of Illinois, The Corcoran Gallery in Washington, D.C., The Art Institute of Chicago, and has a degree in art from Grinnell College. Her art is in private and corporate collections both in the USA and Europe. She likes to work in many different media, and this will be evident in her show at the CommunityGallery in November. Her show consists of work in acrylics, wood, paper, tree bark, gold and silver leaf and more. The title of the show is "Flowerage" meaning 'flowers collectively,' and the wish of the artist is that this show will stimulate your imagination whether you are eight or eighty. |
