The Grinnell Area Arts Council exists to promote, encourage, develop, and assist in the understanding, appreciation, and financial support of the arts and other cultural activities in the Grinnell Area.

Larry Rosenow's exhibit, The Country Is My Home, will be on display in the Arts Center Gallery from April 3 to April 25, featuring watercolor paintings of rural Iowa and Kansas landscapes. Please join us for the opening reception on Thursday, April 3 from 5-6:30pm. Refreshments provided by St. Francis Manor/Seeland Park.

Introducing Studio 6

The afterschool art class currently known as "Studio 4" will reopen in January as "Studio 6," bringing with it a second classroom, two new instructors, an age-based class division, and the opportunity for fifth and sixth grade students to join what was previously a kindergarten through fourth grade art class. Studio 6 will continue to offer students the chance to explore a variety of mediums and work on art projects large and small over the course of the semester. The program will run January 3 - June 3, Mondays through Thursdays, with an option to register free of charge on Fridays.  Read more »
