The Operations Assistant reports to the Operations and Building Managers, completing administrative and building upkeep duties as assigned. Responsibilities may include answering phones, filing and organizing, receiving registrations, and keeping track of ticket sales. A successful candidate should have experience working in a non-profit or community organization and must be task-driven and detail-oriented.
- An ability to interact and collaborate with people of wide-ranging ages and experiences, including youth.
- Scheduling flexibility – the Arts Council runs many events and classes at various times with seasonal fluctuations in programming.
- Passion for the arts and creative community.
- Other arts-related capabilities, such as running sound or lights for performances or planning and teaching crafts or music.
