“Ask me no questions, and I’ll tell you no lies.” She Stoops to Conquer features a large cast of locals bringing this 18th century comedy to life! Upper-class Kate Hardcastle disguises herself as a barmaid to attract the attention of shy Charles Marlow. Deception, mistaken identities and class satire ensue.

This production is Readers Theatre style, similar to a radio play, in which cast members hold their scripts and sets and costuming are minimalist. It’s a fun and relaxed night at the theatre!
