Each holiday season, the Grinnell Area Arts Council hosts a large Local Artist Market in the Grinnell Arts Center, featuring a curated selection of high-quality, original artwork from talented Grinnell-area creators. The Market generally opens the evening of Grinnell’s Jingle Bell Holiday (the Friday before Thanksgiving) and continues through the holiday season.

If you are interested in participating in the market, we are looking for quality original pieces that will resonate with our customers and represent the diverse talent of our artistic community. Artwork is assessed on originality, craftsmanship, creative skill and marketability. We may limit the number of artists in a category in order to present a variety of items at the market.
